During there expedition, they cut across dickens glaciers easily. Then things started to sign on worse. Ninnis got sick and couldnt march so he had to sit on a sledge. While get across a dangerous glacier, Ninnis sledge fell down an undated crevasse. along with Ninnis they lost the sledge, five dogs, all of the dog food, and many other(a) supplies. To make things worse, other sledge crashed immobilizing it. Mawson and Mertz resolute to go back to camp before there mail service could get worse, but there was a complication, they didnt rush plentiful food.
